Robert D. Richards, JR, MD

Dr. Richards graduated from the College of William and Mary. He obtained his Medical Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/ Medis Internship and his Residency. His Gastroenterology Fellowship was completed at University of Virginia Medical Center. Dr. Richards is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Ralph Wisniewski II, MD, FACP

Dr. Wisniewski attended undergraduate school at the University of Scranton and Medical School at Hahnemann University School of Medicine. He completed his Internship and Residency at the University of Rochester. He did his Gastroenterology Fellowship, which included training in both ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound, at the University of Virginia. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology. He and his wife, who is an endocrinologist, have three children.

Larry E. Clark, Jr., MD

Dr. Clark graduated from the University of Florida. He obtained his Medical Degree from Medical College of Georgia. His Internal Medicine Internship and Residency was performed at the University of Virginia. Dr. Clark completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of South Alabama, Mobile, Alabama. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Wei Hou, MD

Dr. Hou graduated and obtained his Medical Degree from China Medical University. His Internal Medicine Internship and Residency was performed at the King-Drew Harbor UCLA. Dr. Hou completed his Gastroenterology Fellowship at the Virginia Commonwealth University. He worked as a Gastroenterologist in China and as a visiting Gastroenterologist in Japan. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.

Patrick R. Kenny, DO

Dr. Kenny graduated from the University of Notre Dame. His Medical Degree was obtained from the University of New England. He completed his Internship and Residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. His Gastroenterology Fellowship was completed at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. He is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and has advanced training in Endoscopic Ultrasound.

James Curtiss, MD

Dr. Curtiss graduated from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and completed his medical school training at the University of South Alabama. He did his Internship and Residency with the University of Virginia programs and Gastroenterology Fellowship at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Curtiss is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine and is a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology.

Tamra Perdue, MSN, FNP

Mrs. Perdue graduated from Radford University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from the University of Virginia. She is ANCC Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Brandy Fleischer, FNP

Mrs. Fleischer graduated from Lynchburg College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Masters of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner Certification from Old Dominion University. She is AANP Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Julia M. Smith, MSN, ACNP

Mrs. Smith graduated from James Madison University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She received her Master’s of Science in Nursing and Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate from the University of Virginia. She is AACN Board Certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.

Amy Stowers MSN, FNP

Mrs. Stowers received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from Marshall University in Huntington, WV. She is certified CGRN by American Board of certification for Gastroenterology Nurses. She is ANCC Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Katherine Pence, PA-C

Ms. Pence graduated from Eastern Mennonite University with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She earned her Master of Science in Medicine at Trevecca Nazarene University. She is NCCPA Board Certified as a Physician Assistant.
